On May 5 we're celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a cookout.
It will commence at 5 p.m. so if anyone is in the 'hood come on down and join us.
We have about 75 percent Hispanics residing here, so we want to help them commemorate this special day in Mexican history.
If my memory serves me correctly that's the anniversary of a major Mexican victory over Spain in some war.
Mexicans really celebrate their Independence Day in September.

I had one new tenant come and prepay his May rent.
We had a great conversation.
Again I was told I'm a nice guy.
I've adopted "Nice Guys Finish With Class" as my credo ever since I gave a eulogy at my father's funeral in 1987.
